Question - What type of applications are appropriate for your vinyl artistic wall textures?
These medias are ideal for any type of wall art, wallpaper, murals, and special effect banners. Currently we offer 1 side printable scrim backed vinyl. Although our media has been engineered for indoor usage, some customers have used dreamScape for short term outdoor applications. The various embossed surfaces allow printers and designers the ability to create new and exciting work.
Question - What the available widths and lengths of the rolls?
The dreamScape media rolls come in a great selection of roll sizes. There are standard widths of 75", 60", 54", 48", 30" which are available in standard lengths of 75', 150', and 300'.
Question - What different textures are available?
The textures which are currently available are Cabretta, Canvas, Cashmere, Luster, Mache, Matte, Pique, Plaster, Moonstone, Mystical, Pueblo, SandPebble, Silk, and Suede. The new window glass textures are Ice, Morning Frost, Rice Paper, Ripples, Sandstorm, and Waterfall.

Question - Will dreamScape media work on my printer? Our vinyl media has been engineered for solvent, Eco-solvent,
and UV Curable digital printers. This product has also been used in gravure, flexographic, and lithographic work shops. We are also developing coated materials for aqueous based printers.
Question - My printer can only handle a certain width, weight, and diameter roll - which items work on my printer? We have created a
PDF chart which lists our entire product line and details which rolls fit which machines.
Question - Will the bumpy surface of some embossings cause image deterioration?
The embossing does not diminish the quality of your print clarity. The peaks and valleys of the embossing will be filled in by the spray of the ink jet head. Many users have reported that the embossing often hides print and/ or file imperfections which would be more easily noticeable on a flat surface. For example,
minor banding can sometimes be reduced
considerably because the embossed surfaces can
hide the streaks.
Question - Can I use the same ICC profile for each different embossing type?
Using one profile for all dreamscape media is possible, and is being practiced by many users with good results. However, our 14 embossings can create different looks ( this is of course part of the special effect). While our white point is identical for each item, the textured surface can change the overall appearance due to the way light reflects off the different surfaces. For best results, we recommend using a unique profile for each different embossing.

Question - What adhesive do you recommend?
Although there are probably a number of adhesives that will work, they need to be ones that are intended for vinyl and not paper. We recommend Roman Adhesives Pro-838 Heavy Duty Clear Adhesive or Ultra Pro-880, or Zinsser Sure Grip-128 Heavy Duty Clear Adhesive.
