i just finished using your DreamScape Textured Wall Wrap, Matte finish, on a clients walls.  It looked great!  Easy to install!

My question is i've already received request for two more.  One is going to be for a restaraunt.  The client wants to be able to clean the surface because of the restaraunt enviorment.

Because it's the matte finish can i use an in house lamination i already carry?

Thank you for using our wall wrap product. We appreciate your loyalty.

We recommend you use a liquid topcoat, such as our DreamGurard to protect your mural.

DreamGuard offers you a number of benefits over other liquid laminating products, including 1) It is made to be compatible with our wallcovering products 2) it is easily applied either on site with a roller or on the production floor with liquid top-coating equipment 3)DreamGuard topcoat is non toxic and is safe for food contact surfaces.

We do not recommend a cold or hot film lamination as passing the two part WallWrap product through the nip rollers of your laminator may damage or release the release liner from the printed wallcovering. We do not recommend hot mount vacuum press type lamination as the heat may affect the behavior of the peel and stick adhesive.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like more information about our DreamGuard topcoat.

would the product be fine without a lamination in a restaraunt enviroment?

will be in the dining area and client would like to clean it.

I would not leave the wallcovering unprotected. Frequent cleaning as well as abrasion that will occur from people moving about will eventually deteriorate the image. Murals and custom wallcoverings are expensive. It makes sense to protect these materials with a laminate that will extend their useful life.

Our testing, using a rotary abrador, indicates that DreamScape and WallWrap media, protected with DreamGuard topcoat, exhibit about 5 times the abrasion resistance of unprotected media.
