Arnette Emboss – This
texture has thin vertical strands, similar to look
in corduroy. Arnette is most commonly used to
enhance a large print pattern or design by giving
a natural fabric appearance.
Artist Canvas Emboss – This
texture is a reproduction of fine art canvas or
painters canvas. This surface adds a great
elegance to any wall. Artist Canvas from
DreamScape is also commonly used for the Giclee
and Fine Decor business in reproducing digitally
printed works of art.
Cabretta Emboss – This
texture is a reproduction of fine cabretta
leather. The creased surface gives a look similar
to calfskin. Often used with colors, patterns or
prints simulating leather. Great for accenting a
leather look for a den or point of interest mural
with a western touch.
Canvas Emboss – The
Canvas surface replicates the look of utilitarian
canvas. The woven texture has a realistic
fabric-like appearance that softens details and
adds a rough threaded dimension to designs and
graphics. Besides its most common use in wall
murals, canvas has been used in fine art
applications and is also a popular texture for
indoor banners as the texture looks like a fabric.
Luster Emboss – This
is a smooth surface that has a semi-gloss finish
for fine detail and strong color saturation.
Excellent for photographic mural and rendered
design applications. The glossy look of Luster
will make your colors explode and pop. If you
application calls for a smooth surface with less
shine, we recommend Matte or Cashmere.
Mache Emboss – Mache is
a crinkled finish that simulates the look of old
parchment. Although strongly textured, this
surface still provides good detail separation and
color saturation.
Matte Emboss – Matte is
a flat finish with a slight tooth suitable for
photographic and detailed designs. The surface is
smooth but not dull as a flat matte surface would
be. Recommended for crisp, sharp edged designs
with large color area. If you are looking for
something that is less shiny but still smooth, we
recommend Cashmere. A shiny alternative would be
Luster.
Mystical Emboss – The
Mystical texture is often described as a “light
cobweb” and one that simulates the look of hand
painted brush strokes. Popular to represent
artwork. Mystical is a suitable option for almost
any image because of its unique swirls and subtle
effect. Mystical provides just enough texture to
make your project stand out, without interfering
with the printed design.
PebbleSand Emboss –
PebbleSand is a deep, coarse texture with
a bumpy ridged surface. The strong texture of
PebbleSand is very noticeable and will attract
certain attention to any project. The
surface has a three dimensional effect to catch
the light and make your image jump out. Because of
the heavy texture, this surface lends itself more
to design than detailed photographic reproduction.
Pique Emboss – The
Pique embossing effect looks like pique textile
fabric. It is popular for patterns and a wallpaper
look. The dimensional nature of the grooved
texture also reduces glare from light sources.
Plaster Emboss – The
Plaster embossing effect allows you to give the
impression that your artwork was painted directly
onto the textured drywall surface. Rough grooves
mixed with raised flat spots create a pleasing
random dispersion of hot spots. Very popular for
wall murals in restaurants, bars, and stores.
Pueblo Emboss – The
Pueblo embossing is a light cracked plaster
effect. This texture is popular for an “old world”
or southwestern adobe wall look. Recommended for
residential and commercial applications where
custom theme artwork sets the tone.
Sand Blast Emboss – The Sand
Blast embossing is a heavier stipple ( when
compared to dreamscape Suede), with the look and
feel of a medium to heavy sand paper. The random
nature of the texture is suitable for just about
any graphic project.
Spun Silk – Silk
media is a specialty fine art vinyl product with a
whisper thin fabric face which was designed to
produce a unique density effect in continuous
areas. When printed on a solvent based ink jet
system, the surface yields a printed result that
may best be described as dappled, with higher
density areas affected to a greater level than
lighter areas.
SpunSilk produces a soft,
shimmering fabric–like effect that will enhance a
particular design or image. The modulating surface
character creates subtle differences to each image
printed adding a custom look to the printing. This
unique surface actually contains a thin spun
silk-like material to replicate the look of fine
fabric. It is especially suited for creating
custom wall covering patterns and textile look
images. It is a medium that will stimulate the
imagination and creative capabilities of designers
and artists and provides the digital printing
service with a unique product offering.
NOTE:
SpunSilk is not recommended for photographic
reproduction or precision color graphics, and may
yield a veiled, uneven look where highly saturated
color fields are expected. We highly recommend
trialing SpunSilk to see if the resultant effects
of this product suit your particular project. 15ft
x 27inch trial rolls are available.
Suede Emboss – The
Suede embossing effect is similar to suede fabric
with its nap and texture. Suede has a light
stipple surface that can be utilized for nearly
any project. The light texture works well to
reduce glare from direct light, while adding a
warmth to the print. Suede is a very popular
option for wall murals of all kinds because the
random natural texture does not interfere with any
print.
